The Nishina Memorial Foundation announced today that Prof. Shigeru Yoshida and Prof. Aya Ishihara have been awarded the Nishina Memorial Prize.
A special exhibition "Neutrino Observatory IceCube - Neutrino Hunters at the South Pole" will be held at the entrance of MEXT from August 19 to September 24, 2019. There will be posters about the research of the Neutrino Astronomy Division, the new detector "D-Egg", and a diorama of the IceCube Neutrino Observatory. Please come and visit us.

Prof. Aya Ishihara receives the "Gold Medal Award", which is given to a young Japanese researcher who has made an outstanding achievement by Yomiuri Techno Forum every year. The announcement was made in today's issue of the Yomiuri Newspaper.
